Surface Disinfectant Bacticid

Product Description
BACTICID is a ready-to-use alcohol-based solution for rapid disinfection of alcohol-resistant surfaces. Convenient for use as it requires no preparation. Medical devices must be disinfected regularly according to the disinfection plan, after each patient visit. BACTICID contains pure, low-volatility ethyl alcohol to avoid respiratory allergies. It has broad fungicidal and bactericidal effects, eliminating Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, including the tuberculosis pathogen and fungi. It deactivates both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses (e.g., HBV, HIV, rota-, and adenoviruses).

USAGE
BACTICID is an effective disinfectant for medical equipment such as operating tables, stretchers, patient chairs, hospital and maternity beds, wheelchairs, etc., especially under high hygiene requirements, where disinfection is the primary preventive measure to avoid infection.
BACTICID is ready to use and does not require dilution.

Not suitable for use on acrylic glass or alcohol-soluble lacquers. If the alcohol resistance of the surface is unknown, test on a small inconspicuous area first. Suitable for use on the following surface materials: metals – stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass; flooring: PVC, linoleum; ceramic tiles, plastics, and glass.

No rinsing required. Does not affect the appearance of surfaces. Can be used for rapid disinfection of food contact surfaces.
Apply BACTICID to medical device surfaces using a damp cloth or paper. The surface should remain visibly wet.

Contact time: 30 seconds.

If there are visible residues on the surface, remove them first with a cleaner, dry the surface, and then disinfect with BACTICID.

As BACTICID has passed tests for BVDV (HCV surrogate) and vaccinia virus, it inactivates all enveloped viruses. Based on these tests, BACTICID is also effective against blood-borne viruses such as HBV, HCV, and HIV, as well as virus groups like orthomyxoviruses (including influenza virus H5N1) and herpesviruses (Herpes simplex virus).

The product meets the requirements of EN 1040, EN 13727, EN 1275, EN 1276, EN 14348, EN 13624, EN 13697, EN 1650, EN 14476.

PRECAUTIONS:
Follow safety requirements during handling! Contains biocide! Read the instructions before use! Extremely flammable. Keep away from sources of ignition – Do not smoke!
IF IN EYES: rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Store in a well-ventilated area. Keep the container tightly closed.
